Martin Freeman Will Play Everett Ross In Captain America: Civil War

It’s getting hard to keep track of all the big-name actors who will appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The latest to have his Captain America: Civil War role revealed is Martin Freeman, the Hobbit, Sherlock and Fargo star who was announced as part of the cast last year. Per photos from an upcoming story in Empire as reported by Collider, it’s now apparent that he’s slated to play Everett Ross.

Ross plays a major supporting role in the Black Panther series of comics as an expert on the superhero’s native country of Wakanda, which means we’ll almost certainly be seeing a lot of Freeman in Panther’s 2018 solo movie and whatever sequels follow.
